I guess I'm typically Spanish, so I'm Catholic and I'm pretty much like Ivan in his beliefs. The only thing I'd add is that Galicia is in general quite strongly Catholic, but for some reason there are some older celtic or pagan beliefs in Galicia too. Have you heard about Meigas? If you were born in Spain, I'm sure you know what they are. If you weren't, and you still don't know who they are, I won't tell you. Sorry, but you'll have to ask someone! I'll tell you only one thing - whether you believe in them or not -there is a Galician expression: "Habelas hailas", meaning that whether you believe or not, they exist. Galician mysteries!
