Hello. I'm Edurne's father and my name is Aitor, a typical name in the Basque Country. In Spanish my name is Héctor. As far as I know, it's originally a Greek name. All my family is originally from the Basque Country; on my father's side, from the historical place of Guernica on my mother's side, from Vizcaya. My wife's family is from the Andalusian cities of Cordoba and Seville. Right now, my wife and myself are going through the process of separating. Though the fact that my roots are Basque and my wife's Andalusian, didn't affect our relationship, anyway. I'm a businessman. I did not attend University but I always liked to read about this and that, later I attended different specific courses about business and, I guess all that gave me ideas to, modestly, be an enterprising person and to have a successful firm. My wife has a boutique and she does well too. We therefore always had a comfortable way of life. Thinking aloud, perhaps we (me especially) focussed too much on work and left too little time for the family... Edurne is our only child. Due to my working too much (I realised now that I didn't pay much attention to her) I'm at present trying to make up for it, but maybe I'm spoiling her, not being firm enough about her studies for example. Edurne does not like to study and she plans to become a flight attendant, since one of her passions is to travel and to buy perfumes.
